It’s yakisoba time! Nissin’s U.F.O. product line is one of the most popular yakisoba lines in the world, but it’s not very easy to get in the USA. Fortunately, my local Asian market sells this version made for export to Hong Kong, and so I decided it’s high time I review one of the famous U.F.O. noodles for myself.

While conducting the review of the Acecook Miso variety that came out of this box, I found out that ZenPop botched the name of that product in their PDF. Their PDF called it “Nomihosu Ippa Gotouchi-hen Sapporo Noukou Miso Ramen,” (which I copied and pasted into this video as a title card when editing) but if you Google that, Google’s going to ask you, “Did you mean Ippai?” Yes, you did. Ippai, not Ippa. So if you’re ever on the hunt for that variety from a Japanese noodle retailer, I don’t know how much difference that one word makes, but you’re not going to find this product using the word Ippa.

I’ve seen some faint praise of this product since filming where people have said, “It’s so refreshing!” While that may be true, I just could not get into this. The flavor is minimal and bland, and I’m sure I could’ve figured out a way to make it taste better, but I had better things to do that day.

This is probably tied with immi’s Black Garlic “Chicken” as the worst thing I’ve reviewed on this channel. There’s a guy on Reddit who pops up every now and then to say how much he likes these, and I compulsively downvote him each time because he is very, very wrong. There’s absolutely nothing to like about this, and I will die on that hill.
