Nissin Chilled Cup Noodles Review | Noodle Journey Episode 223

These are two hot, well, not exactly hot, new products from Japan that take the basic Cup Noodles preparation method and change the most fundamental part of it. Nissin Chilled Cup Noodles come in Chicken, Salt, and Lemon and Spicy Kimchi flavors, and you prepare both with cold water. Not hot water followed by a trip to the refrigerator. Not hot water with some ice cubes thrown in afterward. These are made with refrigerated water poured directly into the cup, and they’re ready to eat in five minutes. I know, it’s wild, right?

Samyang Buldak Rosé Spicy Ramen (US Version) Review | Noodle Journey Episode 222

Today’s review is kind of an update to the review all the way back in episode 90 where I reviewed the version of Samyang Buldak Rosé sold in South Korea. It’s no longer necessary to jump through hoops to import Buldak Rosé, but is it the same recipe? Today I’m reviewing this pack of Samyang Buldak Rosé, the version specifically exported to the US from South Korea.

Nissin Cup Noodles BBQ Flavors Review | Noodle Journey Episode 221

Nissin is back with more limited edition gimmick noodles again, which means I have to review them again so that I don’t miss out. Today’s review is Nissin Cup Noodles BBQ flavors: Texas BBQ and Kansas City BBQ. I really have a love-hate relationship with Nissin’s gimmick Cup Noodles at this point. I love when they try new, thinking-out-of-the-box noodle recipes, but I hate that most of them have been, let’s say, subpar. And quite frankly, I don’t expect soft Cup Noodles covered in Nissin’s interpretation of barbecue sauce to be very good, but I just have to know. Another thing I hate is that when these limited-time Cup Noodles come out, my review schedule has to get adjusted, and I’ve got to review these while they’re still on store shelves. I had a completely different product review planned for this episode, so thank you for screwing up my plans, Nissin.

Nissin Top Ramen HotPot Fusions Mega-Review | Noodle Journey Episode 217

Today’s mega review is one that you viewers voted for and I’m excited to try out. This is a somewhat recent product line from Nissin: Top Ramen HotPot Fusions. These three products are made by Nissin for sale in the US, and they came out sometime last year, maybe around autumn. This is the entirety of the product line as it currently stands. We’ve got Korean Spicy Beef flavor, Japanese Garlic Tonkotsu Pork flavor, and Thai Coconut Curry Chicken flavor.
