Welcome to Noodle Journey! Back when the pandemic started, I began looking at instant noodles as a cheap, fast lunch option while working from home. I was eating shitty cheap garbage noodles for a little while until I happened upon both Nissin Demae and Nongshim Shin Ramyun randomly on the Internet. After eating them, a new obsession was born. So I bought more instant noodles. A lot more.
I noticed people asking a lot of the same questions I had while researching my own buying decisions on Facebook and Reddit: Are these good? What does this taste like? Where do I buy that? What can you recommend?
That is why I started Noodle Journey: to work my way through a huge backlog of noodles and let you know what I think is worth buying and what isn’t. I am on a metaphorical tasting journey through a huge assortment of noodles, hence the name of the site. I still feel like a noodle novice because there is so much stuff out there I never knew existed, and I want to try whatever I can get my hands on.
How Reviews Work
Every review will comment on noodle texture, spiciness, and overall flavor as a standalone product. The first time I review something, I won’t be doing any add-ons or hacks other than what is included in the package instructions. Why? Because life is busy, and maybe you’re busy too. If you don’t have time to make an elaborate meal, it is better to know what already tastes great without investing too much time or energy into it.
I’ll also make sure you know about price and product availability. I’m American, so I will be focusing on products that are easy to get where I live, whether that’s in a store or online. I think that kind of information is important to know. I’m not affiliated or sponsored. I’m just happy to stuff my face and share my opinions.
Hopefully, we can find your new favorite food together, one bowl at a time.

Notes since filming:
Sadly, the massive variety pack that helped kickstart this channel can no longer be purchased. The website I bought it from, Cokoyam.com, shut down not long after I started the channel. They still have an Amazon storefront, but it’s a pale shadow of what it used to be.
