Today I’m reviewing another noodle supplement from Ramen Bae – this time, their completely vegan and gluten-free Veggie Mix. I’ve covered Ramen Bae before in my review of their Classic Seafood and Vegetables Mix, which launched to a great reception after they sought feedback on Reddit. Many people immediately requested a vegetarian alternative without seafood, and this variety, released in June 2023, is the result. As with the previous version, this mix is designed to stir into any cup or bagged noodles for an extra boost of toppings.

They also ship internationally for an additional fee. Depending on how much you use per serving, you can expect to get about 16 to 20 servings from a single bag. The blend includes cabbage, bean curd, carrot, broccoli, bok choy, corn, shiitake mushroom, white mushroom, tofu, green onion, and roasted garlic. Certified vegan and gluten-free, it’s ready in three minutes after being added to boiling water, making it a perfect complement to any instant noodle soup. For this review, I paired it with Nongshim Soon Veggie Noodle Soup, skipping the included flake packet entirely to let the Ramen Bae mix take center stage.
Spiciness:
There’s no heat at all here. This is purely about boosting vegetable content and flavor without adding spice.

Overall:
This is exactly the kind of product I want to see more of – a versatile, high-quality topping that transforms a plain vegetable ramen into something far more substantial. Every component rehydrates perfectly, with the standouts for me being the fried garlic chips and mushrooms (both shiitake and white), adding depth and umami. The broccoli, which I initially thought might not mesh well, actually works pretty well in the Soon broth. I appreciate how this mix gives a rich vegetable presence without overpowering or clashing with the soup’s base, making it broadly compatible with a wide variety of noodle soups. For me, this surpasses the Classic Seafood and Vegetables Mix simply because it’s more flexible; you don’t have to worry about seafood flavors conflicting with your base broth or sauce flavor. Nutritionally, it’s a guilt-free add-in, and in terms of convenience, it eliminates the need for chopping and prepping fresh vegetables. I can see myself reaching for this often and running out of it faster than the seafood version. If you’ve been wanting to elevate your instant noodles while keeping things plant-based, this is an easy recommendation.
