Today's review is of a product that probably shouldn't exist, but here we are anyway. This is Myojo Ippei-Chan Yakisoba Strawberry Shortcake Flavor, and no, I'm not kidding and this isn't a joke. You could say this is clickbait or even rage bait, but even if I wasn't doing my channel or this website, I would still really, really want to know what this tastes like.
Yes, I'm insane. This review is going to be the biggest mega-review I've done to date. I'll be taking a look at every single instant Tapatio Ramen product currently in existence: Original flavor, Beef flavor, Birria flavor, Carne Asada with Lime flavor, Chicken flavor, Shrimp flavor, Chili Lime Shrimp flavor, and Extra Spicy flavor.
Samyang Buldak is such a popular brand that its fans try to seek out every single flavor that has ever existed to make sure they can try them all. Today's review is of one of the most poorly received instant ramen companies I've ever come across. This is Twisted Noodles Shrimp Ramen, in both cup and pack form. And given that a lot of people really seem to hate this brand, I might regret my life choices by the end of this review.
Today I've got something super interesting from Samyang: Samgyetang Ramen Soup. This is super interesting to me because I love trying new things as you may well know and this product is Samyang's take on Samgyetang, which is a South Korean soup typically made with ginseng, garlic, and chicken. As I filmed this review, I was a little bit hoarse, so a hearty bowl of chicken soup sounded really good at the time.
Today's review is something I've wanted to try for years and now I finally have some: Indomie Mi Goreng Rasa Rendang. Now I love Indomie products, and this one has eluded me for a long time. If you find yourself in Indonesia these are obviously very easy to come by and I have seen lots of Australian websites selling these and lots of other Indomie products that we don't get here in the States. If this review piques your interest and you want to score these check out eBay or make an online friend somewhere that these are sold. What stinks is that from what I can find this used to be included in Indomie's assortment of exports to the USA and for some reason that stopped happening several years back.

I’m revisiting this A-Sha x Hot Ones Ramen Noodle Cups collaboration products, this time focusing on the ramen noodle cups rather than the bowls reviewed back in Episode 178. While the branding might suggest these are the same products in different packaging, the recipes are completely different. The lineup includes Sweet Chili, Garlic Chili, and Smoky Chili, all built around air-dried Taiwanese-style noodles and broths that are clearly derived from hot sauce bases rather than traditional ramen soup.
For the first review of 2025, things kick off with something a little different and a little harder to find. This is Samyang Buldak Basil Cream Udon, a flavor that was already elusive when it was new and may have been discontinued shortly after. Even so, it is interesting enough that it deserves a proper review on the books in case it ever turns up again.
I know I said the last review was the last one of 2024, but this is a very last-minute entry to close out the year, and not one I originally planned to review. After Christmas, my wife and I made one of our usual trips to Target to check out the clearance aisle, and this six-pack of A-Sha Hello Kitty Hand Pulled Style Noodles with Friendly Scallion Sauce immediately stood out. These were marked down significantly, and given the A-Sha brand is a solid one, it felt like something worth reviewing right away before the opportunity disappeared.
