Episode 99 marks the end of the current Buldak varieties in my pantry, with a really interesting import version of a popular Asian soup. This one has a dynamite flake sachet and some real meat ingredients. Check out the review!
In late 2024, people have reported issues finding Buldak Curry in stores. As far as I know at the time of this writing, it has not been discontinued, so perhaps there is an ongoing supply issue with this flavor. I have not personally noticed any stock shortages in my area.

An interesting alternative to Buldak Light! This Buldak Lovely Hot is an import-only product with plump, fried noodles and a much less spicy sauce. Check out the review for more info.
This seems to have gone out of stock soon after filming, but keep checking and also take a look at eBay and even Google Shopping. Also check your local Asian grocery store!
Another victim of discontinuation from Samyang. It’s a shame, because the noodles in this one were unique and the spice level was far more tolerable for people who found the original flavor too hot. If Buldak Light ever comes back on the market, it’s worth a try for the noodles alone.

If you’ve ever tried or wanted to try Samyang’s Buldak sauce but find the spice level intolerable, this review is for you! I’ll go over how Buldak Light differs from that intimidating normal spicy hot chicken ramen.
Another Buldak fusion variety from Samyang! This one combines the sweet and smoky Buldak sauce with some Italian herbs, tomato extract, and a cheese blend. Does it work? Watch the review to find out!
I may have objectively gotten the spice score wrong on this one, but I spoke to my own experience. I didn’t find this one as terribly spicy as some other Buldak varieties, and yet according to other anecdotes and even the official Buldak Scoville chart, this one is supposed to be spicier than the original Hot Chicken flavor. So fair warning that while I didn’t personally think it was at that level, you may feel differently if you buy this one. And you should buy this one, because it’s really good.

Do you love Buldak but wish it came in a soup form? Or maybe you’ve tried to hack the other Buldak flavors into a soup and it just didn’t hit right? This review is for you!
This one may warrant a re-review someday. The experiences I’ve read from others who’ve tried this flavor are all over the place. Some found it not nearly as spicy, some found it way more lime-forward than I did, etc. I don’t know if Samyang has changed this recipe since filming, or perhaps if their habanero pepper supplier has inconsistent heat levels with their peppers, but something is definitely up with this one.

More Buldak! This Habanero Lime flavor is one of the newer varieties from Samyang and it promises a spicy fusion of Korean and Mexican flavors. Watch this review to learn all about the flavor and spice level in this one.
One of the most-asked questions on Reddit is how this flavor differs from Carbonara. TL;DR Smoky ham/bacon flavor, less spice, and extra creaminess. This being an import version, it also contains real meat extract, which gives the savory flavor a slight boost.

Many instant noodle fans have said that this is the best of the Buldak varieties, but they’re pretty hard to get outside of South Korea. Is this worth importing? Watch the video and find out!
